How to create your first size chart

This guide walks you through creating your first size chart in DEVNZO Size Chart & Size Guide. You’ll learn how to select a professional template, customize it with your product measurements, and control where it appears on your store.

Store admins can easily create and manage size charts from the Manage Charts section. To create a new size chart:

1. Create a size chart

Navigate to the Manage Charts section > click the Create chart button.

2. Choose a template

Select a predefined layout that fits your product category — for example: Clothing → Men’s Fashion → Top

This automatically loads a recommended table format and measurement guide for that product type.

3. You’ll be taken to the chart creation page with three tabs

Tab 1: Size Chart - Where you design your size chart content

At the top, choose a template like “Men’s Top” or click Change template to switch to another layout that fits your product.

1.2. Add a title and heading

In the Text block, you can:

• Add a title like “Men’s Top Size Chart”
• Include a short heading or introduction above your table

Click on the text area to edit.

1.3. Create or edit the size table

In the Size chart section, you can build your table with:

• Size (S, M, L, XL…)
• Chest, Shoulder, Sleeve, or any custom measurements

You can:

• Edit values directly inside the table
• Add or remove rows and columns using + Row / + Col
• Customize measurements based on your product 

1.4. Enable unit conversion (optional)

Turn on Convert unit if you want to support international customers.

• This allows automatic conversion between units (e.g., cm ↔ inches)
• Helps shoppers better understand sizing globally 

1.5. Add size guidance text

Use the Text block below the table to:

• Explain how to choose the correct size
• Give fit advice (e.g., slim fit, relaxed fit, size up/down) 

1.6. Add image (measurement guide)

In the Image Content section:

• Upload an image showing how to measure (chest, sleeve, etc.)
• Supported formats: JPG, PNG

This improves clarity and reduces returns.

1.7. Add additional text content (optional)

Use another Text block to include:

• Measurement notes
• Sizing tips
• Disclaimers (e.g., slight variation in measurements)

1.8. Add more content (optional)

Click Insert new Block to:

• Add more text sections
• Add additional images
• Customize the layout based on your store needs 

Tab 2: Visibility- Where you configure display settings

2.1. Add a chart name (internal use)

In the Chart Name (Internal) field:

• Enter a name like “Men’s Top”
• This name is only visible to you inside the admin
• It helps you identify and manage your size charts easily

2.2. Choose where the size chart should appear

In the Conditions section, you can control where this size chart is displayed:

• All products
• Show this size chart on every product in your store
• Products matching any condition below
• Show the size chart only on selected products

2.3. Assign the size chart using conditions

If you choose Products matching any condition below, you can target specific products by:

• Choose Product → Select individual products
• Choose Collection → Apply to an entire collection
• Add tag → Show chart for products with a specific tag
• Add vendor → Apply to products from a specific vendor

The size chart will appear on product pages that match any of these conditions.

2.4. Preview how it appears on your store

On the right side, use the Preview panel to see how the size chart button will look:

• Toggle between Mobile and Desktop view
• Check button placement on the product page
• Ensure it fits well with your store design

Tab 3: Recommendation- Where you configure Recommendation settings

3.1. Enable size recommendations

Toggle Recommendation to enable size suggestions for your customers.

• This helps customers find the right fit
• Reduces returns and improves buying confidence

3.2. Disable recommendations (optional)

If you don’t want to show size suggestions:

• Simply turn off the Recommendation toggle
• The size chart will still be visible without recommendations 

3.3. Select recommendation type

Choose how you want to generate size recommendations:

• Manual → Set up recommendations based on your own size chart data
• AI (coming soon / optional) → Automatically generate recommendations 

3.4. Select a source table

When you click Select, a popup will appear showing available size chart tables.

• Each table includes size data like Size, Chest, Shoulder, Sleeve, etc.
• These tables are created from your existing size charts. 

3.5. Complete recommendation setup

Once you select a data source, additional configuration options will appear.

Step 2: Select core measurements

Choose which measurements customers will enter to get size recommendations.

You can select one or more options such as:

• Chest
• Shoulder
• Sleeve
• Length

💡 Customers will input these values, and the app will match them with your size chart.

3.6. Choose sizing method

Select how recommendations should be calculated:

• Product Dimensions (Chart shows garment)Uses actual garment measurements
• Best for clothing products
• Includes slight room for comfort
• Not ApplicableUse this for non-clothing products
• Disables measurement-based recommendations

3.7. Enable customer fit preference (optional)

Toggle Enable Customer Fit Preference to allow customers to choose:

• Tight fit
• Regular fit
• Loose fit

This helps personalize recommendations and improves user experience.

3.8. Review selected data source

• You’ll see a preview of the selected size table
• Base unit (e.g., CM) will be displayed
• Click Reselect if you want to choose a different table

3.9. Final result

Once setup is complete:

• Customers will enter their measurements
• The app will automatically suggest the best size
• This helps reduce returns and increase conversions
